@TheRecruitScoop: BREAKING: Seton Hall's Sterling Gibbs will transfer & will be eligible immediately.

Man how big would that be?!? I don't know how good this guy is but I assume he wouldn't take a spot from anyone in our backcourt. I also imagine he wants to be somewhere he starts.

Yeah if we have a chance then he'd fill a need when this class graduates and would entice TJ to come.

Very good college player but has shown to have a bad temper. Iirc, he is the kid who punched the nova kid in the face while he was down. It was a 100% cheap shot, but if kruger wants him so do I!

I've never cared much about who started, but it is important to be part of the main rotation. A player like Sterling Gibbs would allow us keep everyone fresh by giving the 3 guard/wings a few more minutes of rest. He averaged 16 ppg last year and would probably be our 2nd best offensive weapon.

I doubt OU is in the mix for his services, because he no doubt wants to start somewhere and be "da man".

If he's transferring just so he can be the man, I'm not sure why he's transferring at all. He's already the man at Seton Hall. I'd imagine he has his eyes set on going to a better basketball team. Of course, I'd imagine coming off the bench isn't the most attractive option.

He didn't happen to play PG, did he? I'm just asking, because I noticed he led Seton Hall in assists, and he might be able to beat out Woodard. I've never seen him play, though.

OU played Seton hall in the coaches vs cancer tournament at the beginning of the 2013-14 season where OU made the big late comeback to win by 1..gibbs was part of the team and I believe i remember him, ahem "trying to draw a lot of fouls"..on the offensive end.

Will he have 2 years? I'd take him if that forearm/punch ordeal was out of character. Another guard, a scorer/shooter, and it sounds like his brother is a baller. This would obviously not be a Kruger type of move but if it helped us next season and with this other kid...

Temple is all but pegged to go to Notre Dame, except James Hale thinks OU.

Sterling will only have 1 year, so I think it has little bearing where he goes, wont matter to Temple.

Wow. In reading everything about his visit and his affinity for our players/coaches, it seemed like we had a big lead, and Notre Dame was just a small roadblock with that visit left.. Oh well.. Next!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Everyone picked Notre Dame before he had taken any visits.

Hale thinks we're going to get everyone we recruit. Can't believe he still gets considered a recruiting 'expert'. OUr Robert Allen...
