Steve Pledger

More than likely, but something in me just keeps thinking that Cam could be a stud right from the start.

I don't think so. I don't think he takes the ball to the hole enough or gets to the FT line enough. I think he will average more than he did last year just because he'll get more PT. But I dont think he'll be the leading scorer. I think Cade will continue to drive the ball more and will end up averaging double figures.

You never know though. I mean, Pledger is not shy. He may just take enough threes to be the leading scorer. I just don't see it. If he were our leading scorer in November/December, teams would key on him and being stricly a 3-point shooter, and not really quick footed, they could shut him down, or at least limit him.

Agreed. Cam may be more likely because of his all-around offensive game. The problem is that there's kind of a log jam on the wing with Pledger, Cade and Cam. I"m guessing tho that Capel will play 4 guards nearly as much as last year because we don't have a lot of bigs and Pledge, Cade and Cam may be our three best players, so he'll have to keep them on the floor and none of them can play PG.

Not saying he will be the best player, but he'll get alot of the shot attempts that Tony and TMG got last year. Cam in my opinion is the second most talented player Capel has signed.

him or cam. i'll go with the guy who has more d-1/big 12 experience though. the end of the year he finally became comfortable and confident with his game. i'm sure he's working hard on his defense and off the dribble game. and no epic-sized slumps will be awaiting in his sophomore year.

I'm predicting it will be Cade or a JUCO we sign. CJ Washington leading the team in scoring at 14-15 a game sounds like a reasonable prediction.

If CJ Washington comes in and averages 14-15 a game he will be the most underrated recruit in the country.

I don't think Pledger will be in the top 3. Cade, Cam and a juco player.

If I were to step out on to a limb I would predict T.J. Taylor. He has a D-1 ready body, I like how he can get in the lane and finish. Little bit of a long shot but I think he could have a chance.

I think TJ as well he has an aggressive game that could get him quite a bit of points next year. I Think game is super talented but I dont see him leading this team in scoring. I think if we got Newell he could be a contender for this as well.

Seeing Cade Davis as the leading scorer serves as one of the main indicators that this will be a very long, long season.

Other than the fact that this is a fashionable thing to say, I'd love to hear why this is such an indicator.

I think most likely we'll see Cade avg around 16 early in the year and then by mid season (even though Cade is our leading scorer by scoring avg) it will be someone else stepping up into our leading scorer role. It could either be Clark, Washington, Taylor, Pledger, or even Fitz that could fit that scenario. Of course we COULD still land another player or two that could come in and be the man right away. We'll see.
