OU beat TCU twice, neither by close scores. The games weren't that close. TCU simply didn't have the height to compete with OU. Yet, they did split with Texas during the regular season before losing 67-61 in the Big Twelve Tournament. The Horned Frogs lost three seniors who were rather key to their success: Chelsea Prince, Natalie Ventress, and Danielle Breaux. These were the third, fourth, and fifth scorers. The good news is that they have Zahna Medley and Veja Hamilton back, their two leading scorers and best three-point shooter and assist leader.
Freshmen recruits:

Hattie Msuya 6-0 F Bishop McGuinness

Amy Okonkwo USC 6-2 F
I think it obvious what the focus of recruiting for TCU was this year--height and rebounding. Akkomolafe of El Paso is probably the best rebounder of the four, 17.2 per game.
I think Alexis Standish left the program. Jada Butts is back. I doubt we see much of the others.
I liked the team that Raegan Pebley put on the court last year. It didn't have the height to compete, but it did. They liked to run and pressure. It's just that OU ran better and had some height that exposed them. They were 18-14, 9-9 in conference play. This year, they get Texas A&M and Notre Dame in preseason play.
I think TCU will get better, but I don't expect a 9-9 finish this year. They lost too much. But, they did bring in some height needed to compete in the Big Twelve. I anticipate a better future, but this may be a tough year.
