And so it begins

G1 33 points 8 Rebs 4 Assists +16 in a win vs SAC

He's playing on TNT right now against the Mavs for anyone interested. He's had some nifty moves. I don't think I could ever get tired of watching him play.

He seemingly improves one area of his game every year. This year, it appears to finally be his defense, albeit small sample size. The improvements were subtle in years past on that side of the ball, but was more noticeable last night. You can see that he put some effort into guarding his man and not letting the guy get past him. I look forward to another great season from him.

G2 26/10/2 and +12 in a win vs DAL

And he sat from midway (or a bit later) in the third quarter till the end of the game. He easily could have put up forty the way he was going, but Rivers went with his second unit for an extended period of time.

I still chuckle each time I recall the argument I had a couple of years ago against one of our resident "gurus," who was convinced that Blake had nowhere near the athletic ability as Dwight Howard.

(yawn...)

I will admit his first few years in the league I was getting annoyed by how he acted. Still one of my favorite players and love watching him play, especially since he has toned down his complaining.

I love watching him play as well. Glad he's toned it down.

Had business in LA so I saw the game last night. Clippers could have won by 30
Blake looks more well rounded this year especially on the boards.

Is he still whinning about Every no Call??

To be in the NBA you have to do that don't you? It seems the better the player the more they complain. Just look at Westbrook, he is one of the best and complains every time down the court.

Yeah, I'm well over Blake being singled out for this, especially by Thunder fans, who somehow don't notice Westbrook's whining.

I'm disappointed in Blake's constant nagging of the officials, but they're allowing the NBA to turn into glorified soccer with the flopping. I guess he might as well join the fray. Blake seemed to be half cyborg while in Norman, so you've got to believe he's been coached to approach the calls and the officials in this way.

And this is prime fodder for the NBA board!

the thunder fans are well aware that westbrook whines.

The difference is most of the time, westbrook has a reason to as he is knocked to the ground going to the basket.

You literally have to be an idiot to dog on BG. Who is the best player OU has currently and could EVER of had or will have in the NBA. Amazes me that people look for stuff to gripe about him Instead of being proud and supporting our best sooner player in the league. I guess some people hold their NBA basketball team higher than the success of OU bball and alumni success.

Ask Leopard's opinion... Oh wait we cant!

I don't know if you know it, but your second sentence is an example of what he is talking about.

Westbrook is a great flopper on drives, almost as good as Chris Paul.

Everyone in the league whines too much. That is why they have them throw the ball in faster now to try to counter that some.

I agree and I Think it has gotten worse the more he has been around Paul.

He hasn't complained as much the first two games, at the same time he has had little trouble scoring.

So I have to love every player to come thru OU, especially the good ones?

I've never been a big Blake guy. I can respect his athleticism and game, but that doesn't mean I have to like the dude, or follow his career.
