We will have played all our road games against top competition, except for ISU. Should be able to get on a roll. Protect home court and split the road games (TCU, TT and OSU, KSU, ISU or OSU), and we'll end up with 11 wins which should tie for third and earn a top 4 seed with our RPI.

I think the next three games are important. If would be really big to go 3-0. Easy home game but on the road at Baylor and OSU. Need to pick up these winnable road games.

I honestly think we can win the next 10 games if we didn't take a half off. But the team is a little too inconsistent for me to say that.

Capable of winning the rest of our games except slim chances at ISU. That does not mean we will and we probably won't. I still think we finish at 12-6 which is what I predicted after non-conference.

This team isn't consistent enough to run off 10 straight. Capable? Sure. Our good is probably good enough to beat anybody left on our schedule most nights. The problem is, outside of the OSU game, this team hasn't really put together two good, spirited halves very often this season.

Short bench is going to kill us. Lattin has been bad of late. Booker barely gets to play, and I'm not sure why. Walker is up and down. Bennett is Bennett.

Starting to think losing Buford may be a larger impact than we were thinking.

Nothing here I disagree with, although I wish I could. The highs and lows we have seen in the past few weeks have me baffled at times. This team doesn't have a big margin of error. They have to be play well in both halves to beat the best teams in the Big 12. Problem is, they're capable of getting beat by anyone, especially on the road, when they don't come ready to play from the opening tap.

You're also right about our bench. They're just not as good or as consistent as I thought they would be. It's obvious Kruger doesn't trust his back ups at crunch time, but their lack of playing time is making fatigue a real possibility when our starters are trying to come back from a huge deficit. Bennett logged more minutes in last night's game, and he played well. But I have a feeling that was more about getting TaShawn's attention than anything else.

It did last night. Compare OUr bench's production vs KU's bench:
(4) players: OU 25 minutes, 7 points. 6 rebounds
(3) players: KU 53 minutes, 31 points, 16 boards

The good part is that despite being in a huge hole, our players made a huge 2nd half run to take the lead late, only to have KU pull away for the 7 point win. I think that their bench strength had something to do with that, along with, of course, their torrid shooting from BTA.

I like our chances to return the favor in Norman.

Good post.

Haven't been able to be on in a couple of days. This original post is spot in. Even if we drop tomorrow's game - I say we win, but we are not favored - our schedule is front loaded in conference. We are going to end strong. I want badly a 3 or 4 seed. Big difference from a 5.

PS - I love this group of guys. Yes, we've had some tough stretches, but it's such a fun group to root for.
