I just think it's nuts to think about the size we will have in our 2 deep next year. Not to mention the depth. We lose Thomas 6-9 and Bennet 6-8 but We will have 4 guys added to the team that are over 6-7. To me that's just an insane addition to the size on the floor. Out of those 4 I see Buford, McNeace, and Manyang getting playing time. And if Odomes is as good as advertised I could see him getting "booker" minutes. The addition will bring our average height up to 6'6". And if you take out our 2 PGs(Woodard and Walker) we will have an average height of 6'7". Can't remember the last time we were this big.
21 Buford, Dante F 6-7 205
25 Cole, C.J. F 6-7 235
11 Cousins, Isaiah G 6-4 192
24 Hield, Buddy G 6-4 212
12 Lattin, Khadeem F 6-9 201
4 McNeace, Jamuni C 6-10 202
00 Spangler, Ryan F 6-8 235
2 Walker, Dinjiyl G 6-1 197
10 Woodard, Jordan G 6-0 189

Then incoming class
Christian James G 6-4 205
Rashard Odomes SF 6-7 205
Akolda Manyang C 7-0 235

Odomes is 6-7?

ESPN lists him at 6'7". Rivals and 247 list him at 6'6". Yahoo Sports lists him at 6'5". Take your pick but he's being measured in tennis shoes most likely. I suspect he's slightly taller than Buddy (1 inch?).

Here's a piece on him from this summer from an AAU tournament in Vegas:

Given the way he played and the types of plays that he made down the stretch, versatile rising senior guard Rashard Odomes would have felt a lot better about his day had his Texas D1 Ambassadors walked away with a win over the Michigan Mustangs. However, a loss shouldn't take away from what the 6-foot-5 product of Copperas Cove (Tex.) High did.

A three-star prospect who narrowly missed the cut the last time the Rivals150 was updated, Odomes is very much going to be in the conversation post-summer.

He is a true utility wing who does a little bit of everything. He can handle the ball, is an alert passer, finishes at the rim with athleticism and makes enough jumpers to keep defenders honest. Where he shines, though, is in transition and as a defender. He moves his feet, gets deflections and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

"Coaches like the way I drive the ball," Odomes said. "I go up strong and I just play hard on both ends. That's just how I've always been.

"Now I'm getting more exposure."

Odomes recently set his first official visit for Oklahoma the weekend of Aug. 30. The Sooners have offered along with Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Marquette and Creighton.
