This is Cool!!!

I mean gimmminneee christmas how much more can they beg the lame-ass college students to come to the games. Should we charter vans to pick them up at home and give them a beer on the drive over too?

I'm an old man (compared to many on this board; just ask Booger). But get Joe C. to implement a sweet plan like that and I'll got back to school and start to work on getting into med school. Heck, I'll even move into the dorms (if they'll give the Mrs. conjugal visit rights). Make that a six-pack of Bud – not just one beer – and I'll go ahead and get enrolled for the next semester.

I'm with Scrybe. :woot

If they offer this, it's time to finish the masters degree and then start a PHD.

Oh, and one more thing. I'm really, really glad that Soonerman (with no malice to Soonerman intended) seems to have taken my place on your "most disagreeable" list at ouhoops.com. I gotta tell you, Booger, I'm still carrying a few virtual scars from some of our most heated message board battles. :ez-laugh:

The funny thing: I've pretty much always agreed with almost everything you've posted – save the posts that centered around that one rather important topic). And now, even that is no longer an issue, since we seem to be in complete agreement about our latest hire and the direction Sooner basketball is headed. I'm very confident that OU has found the right guy to lead our program back to a place of prominence among the big boys of college basketball. And I know that you and most of our other "regulars" are similarly optimistic.

P.S. – In case you didn't notice, that's Kumbaya (sp) playing softly in the background.

I hear kumbaya in the background as well. I do owe you an apology though. I was really rude at times. As much as I try not to do it, I take some of this stuff way too seriously.

PS -- neither you nor soonerman will ever displace Bounce on my "most disagreeable" list. :ez-laugh:

Well, then, Let me go ahead and extend my condolences to Bounce while he's still able to sit up and read this. :ez-laugh:

And the apology is accepted, though it really wasn't necessary. In most cases, my problems are brought on by yours truly.

OU basketball needs so many things more than bringing back Top Dawg. My expectation would be that bringing TD back would neither change our attendance, our W/L record, our scoring average, nor our defensive effort.

People want him, and he's fun. Why must you hate fun things? Why must everything be measured numerically? Can't fun stuff come back? Oh and if you can't spell it right, it's understandable why you don't understand.

It's Top Daug.

I haven't read through this entire thread, but has anyone gotten a response from Kruger? Obviously he's incredibly busy right now, just curious

Frankly, one change that would make a difference immediate to some, including me, would be to schedule night games a little earlier. We, Tulsan's and old guys, just can't drive over for games at 7:00, this puts us getting out of the parking lot at 9:30 to 10:00, and gets me home around 12:00. I need an earlier starting time to get to these games. As it is, I just go to day games on the weekend.

only problem with that is i am sure there are some that cant leave work early to make it on time. Its a damned if you do damned if you don't situation during the week nights

Max, I think you just stated why they start at 7:00. Probably never going to change. I'm sure TV has something to do with it too.
