Gallon gone, Warren gone, Coach O., gone, it seems as if Capel were involved he'd be gone as well.

Employees who are breaking rules/laws rarely tell their co-workers or supervisors of their misdeeds. I can seen that analogy applying here very easily. So its a good thing that all of that was going on in his team and he had no idea it was happening?? He might want to pay more attention to the group if this is the case.
The whole think stinks. Depending on how this mess plays out with the NCAA, it may be time for David Boren to clean house and boot both JC's arses out the door. If the NCAA gives us more than a slap on on the wrist, and Boren REFUSES to clean up the mess then it will be time for the Oklahoma fans to stop supporting the program with their ATTENDANCE and MONEY.I'm not sure which is worse. If JC knew all about this or nothing about this. I think both are pretty bad.

After observing and listening to Jeff Capel over the past few years, I believe he is a victim of misplaced trust. He was a naive young coach who trusted those advisers who recommended and vouched for assistant coaches to him in the beginning. He is learning that, ultimately, advisers don't have to live with the results of their recommendations. Jeff Capel DOES have to live with the results, hence the relatively long time to hire replacement assistants. He is definitely being more careful. He is learning his lesson. I just hope it's not too late.

I would be shocked if Capel knew nothing of the money going to Gallon, through the agent, set up through Coach "O".
A more believable scenario is the assistants do all the dirty work and then take the fall if they are caught, keeping the head coach out of the fray.
I thought Coach "O" was a real coup for Capel to hire as an assistant but he appears to be extremely dirty, that's a shame.
I don't agree with that at all... They trimmed all of the expendable people.
If the head coach resigns you are admitting high level guilt and the school would be in monster trouble. There is no way they aren't going to do everything they possibly can to protect the head coach and the athletic department.
No way...if OU knew Capel was involved he would be gone and deservedly so.
I am willing to bet it was Oronde's personal cell phone which most likely makes it harder to keep tabs on.Where is our compliance department? What aren't they constantly monitoring calls especially since that is the main reason we are on probation.
