Jason "Ski" - don't even want to attempt spelling his last name - from Billy's teams in the late 80s. Was on the 1988 final four team. You can't have a list without him. Much more of a fan favorite than any of those guys.

Well, you know, I was a kid! In 1991 I was riding a bus home from school watching Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, etc, lol.

I am not much older than you, but even then, I enjoyed chanting for Ski at the LNC more than I did watching Rescue Rangers. This is scientific proof I am a better person than you.

My family all went to TU! I went to TU games as a kid. I became an OU fan on my own.

Ski is definitely #1. Oleg competes with Kyle Hardrick as the most unproductive OU player to ever be rewarded a scholarship.

If Oleg was a walkon, though, he would definitely be near the top. I'll never forget one time when he was a senior in 2000. OU was blowing out the opponent, and the crowd in unison chanted " WE WANT OLEG. WE WANT OLEG!!!" Kelvin sent him in and the crowd went absolutely nuts.

Big, sorry you are so young. You missed (IMO) the best basketball in OU history!

I started watching OU during the Wayman era...and to me, between 1985 - 1992 was some incredible basketball. OU was a top 5 program during that 7 year stint.

I suggest you get your hands on some old tapes!!!!

No question it was Ski. Those were my years at OU and the "Ski Ski Ski" chant would get started in EVERY game. He was a folk hero. Those were some fun teams to watch.
