all of the talk is how ou will get it together, that the texass tech loss is a result of youthful immaturity and they now will get it right. the fact is that they lost to texass tech -TEXASS TECH- on their home court. they have already been beaten buy la tech, a mid major, at home. all of the close games that the fans allude to could also be viewed as games the sooners just collapsed down the stretch. basically ou was in a good position to win at I state, k state, and w vir on the road, and really gave the games away. Woodard blows a layup which would have put ou up 5 with under thirty secs left against w vir, just one possession after heild tried a crazy alley oop when milking the clock should have been the goal. five turn overs in the last eight possessions against k state, and a nine minute streak in second half against I state with one field goal. in none of these games did ou get beat. they beat themselves. so the selection people, if the sooners finish 9-9, might look at the give aways and go with a bubble team that has shown more heart under pressure.

Did you also analyze the performance (read: heart) of those said bubble teams? I would wonder if they too lost some games they should have won.

It might be good if you could provide an example team so we could take a look at their season results thus far.

i believe the mistakes u have referred to are mistakes of inmaturity and as this seasons passes I don't think you will see them next year. This team is struggling right now but I believe they will learn from their mistakes and turn this problem around and finish the season strong.

last 4 games are tough. no gimmes.

all of a sudden 11-5 looks more like 9-7.

KSU and Texas are playing good. KU at Larry....and at GIA.

sure we could lose them all. then we are out.

i don't think that will happen.

rpi is slipping but still good.

We just need to take care of business down the stretch and not leave it in the hands of the committee.

I think OU is solid in the tournament assuming they win three of the last six, imo. That's 10-8 in America's best league. A 9-9 record in the league will be good enough to sneak in but OU won't make it with less than a .500 record.

Trouble is that none of the final six are gimmies, all are games that OU will have to play well to win.

My concern is that Woodard has hit the freshman wall (though Hornbeak's play Wednesday was encouraging) because point guard play is critical to success.

When you rely so much on the jumper, things get dicey in a hurry. OU has played good defense in stretches but guarding teams has been an issue all year.

OU has a nice team but it's margin for error is small.

Nice AGGIE. GO AWAY we don't care about your crap tossing. OU IS a lock - 6 or 7th seed right now. You should worry about whether your Ags can make the NIT, LOL

We have opportunities but the way we are playing now...we're playing our way OUT of the tourney. Too many missed opportunities and several tough games left.
