Oklahoma State lost Alexes Bryant midseason and Rodrea Echols last week. Bryant quit the team, but apparently stayed in school at OSU.
 
Lot of unhappy kids and probably more likely unhappy parents.

It will be interesting to see where Mulkey and Dungee end up.
 
It hit a nerve Hardy...I am a big believe that parents make it very difficult on kids to even attempt to be happy...coaches don't play them or something of that nature mom and dad complain without knowing what happens at practices kids just use it as their out hence the new age of the transfer! I think if parents stayed out of it kids could cope better than most expect.

I'm guess mid major/ lower level D1 for Mulkey, and I thought Dungee would go to an ACC school, but I could see her heading to the SEC, maybe some place like Vanderbilt...

Mulkey will go major D-I--hard to find big girls let alone 6-9. She's originally from Kentucky area so maybe SEC. Dungee of course went to Arkansas.
 
Be a shame for OU with open ships to pass completely on this talented wave of kids.

But transfers?? it's a gamble.
 
I have seen one report earlier today that she has committed to Arkansas but no confirmation.
 
I don't have a doubt many d1 schools will take a chance inn mulkey and Kentucky is for sure in mix the question is will she ever be productive it would seem from many opinions she will not. 6'9" can't be taught so my guess is she just becomes someone else project

Well see, Mulkey just seems like she plays basketball because she's tall, she comes from a basketball family, and because she's expected to play basketball... I'm not sure she will go somewhere else that Will be demanding or expect her to put in work to contribute...

No way to know for sure but where Mulkey chooses to go to school and play basketball may tell us a little more about her motivation to transfer. Going to a power 5 school might indicate she knows she is going to have to work to be successful and she is committed to doing so. Going elsewhere may be telling us she wants a less demanding environment where less commitment is required.

The rumored relationship of Dungee and Mulkey and how the coaching staff managed that problem will probably never be clarified and will remain just rumors. Rumors best forgotten as we move on.
 
Maybe she just wants to go where she thinks her skills can be develop more than what she was getting from Sherri Coale and staff.
 
Hale has said this on his radio show...so this is in the public domain...that one player (and it was clear he was talking about Mulkey) transferred because she did not want to do the off season workout regimen that was expected of her.
