We have seen a few teams contain him and make him take some forced shots. He had six against WVU and kansas held him in check the second game.

It's possible and if they play him tight and throw a lot of traps at him, the other guys will have to step up

Whenever teams have 4-5 days to prepare for Buddy, it's more likely that they can (somewhat) contain him. When they only have one day to prepare, that simply is not enough time. This was true all season, and particularly noticeable in the tournament. We'll need some other players to step up against Villanova, but if we make it to the NC game, Buddy will almost certainly go off.

Even with 4-5 days Oregon thought they had a plan that would work, and it didn't, if played us again, you would see a different strategy that might work better the second time.

And even though, this will be Nova's second shot at us, Buddy didn't go off on them, and as defenses have evolved against him, he has grown. Teams as just too different, not sure that first match up gives either team anything, besides some basic motivation for Nova

Oregon had 1.5 days to prepare. Still with Cousins going crazy the 1st game against Nova and Buddy struggling who knows the adjustments they'll make.

I think they will trap him. It's worked when other teams have done it so you're right, other guys are going to have to step up.

I'll take our 4 vs their 3 if they decide to trap. Not a ton of size inside for them and Lattin and Cousins have really worked that little oop game.
