We’re in!!!!!

We’ll see if we can get Ole Miss in round 1, but Virginia is the one seed I’d most want to be grouped with. Not saying we would be able to beat them, but they disappoint a lot in the tourney

Obviously would have liked the season to have gone better, but we did beat Kansas and I am happy that calixte made the tournament, one of his reasons for transferring. Not sure if Reynolds has played in it before

Guess first time for Reynolds too

I have always dreamed of my teams name getting called on selection Sunday !! I prayed for this!!! #OUDNA

Hell yeah, Sooners!

Could not have landed a better match up really. Also lining up with the weakest 1 seed imo.

Gosh, I hope the guys live their dream by playing the very best they can.

Maybe their non-conference mojo will kick in.

Always good to make the field! Congrats to the guys; here's hoping they shoot lights-out against Ole Miss.

2 years ago the coaches thought they'd have Trae & McGusty to go w James, Odomes, Manek, & Doolittle. After last year -- Trae being so much better than expected & McGusty being so much worse -- they had to patch it together with duct tape & rubber bands. The fact that they were able to do that & get a team that most here even thought would be sub .500 back to the tournament is a credit to the coaches & the team's leaders.

When you look at those who didn't make the tournament like Texas, TCU, Alabama, NC St, Clemson, Notre Dame, Arizona, & other similar Power 5 teams (+ really good non-power 5 schools like Creighton & Wichita St.), it's really nice to hang another banner, especially in a rebuilding year.

I couldn't have said it better!

Lose the leading scorer and assist man in the nation, picked to miss the tourney in almost every national publication, essentially play the last two months without your starting center, not have a single guy on first or second team all conference ... yet make the field again. Yeah, that Kruger guy clearly doesn't know what he is doing. Somehow, he has made two straight appearances without Buddy! Although we all know they only made it because of ratings ... the committee knows more people will watch us since Trae used to go to OU. :)

Unfortunately Trae Young was immature and did not unite the team.

If this was true -- and I find it laughable -- it speaks even more highly about the job the coaches & team leaders did the last 2 years.

I laugh when people blame Trae Young for the problems the team had last year that carried over into this year. Sure, it was an 18 year-old kid's fault (an 18 year-old kid that led the nation in points and assists) that the team melted down. Had nothing to do with poor coaching and horrible (nonexistent) leadership from the upperclassmen.
