Don’t think I’ve ever been more wrong about something than my preseason pokes predictions. Still think it will be interesting if Cunningham actually goes there. He can do nothing but hurt his draft stock at osu.

They are so so bad at scoring. Some of the shots they had last night weren’t even close. Seem wide eyed and defeated. Also, I can’t understand why they wanna push the pace. They gotta slow it down and hope to grind out wins.

expect them to shoot like 50% from the field and 45% from 3 against OU this weekend

I personally don't like the strategy of keeping a failed coach for one player who will be at your school for one year.... not a good long-term decision.

They had good hype preseason and early on, but the wheels have come off and they are going to finish last most likely.

You have all heard me talk about Kyle Keller from Stephen F. Austin... he belongs at OSU. They have a good chance to fire Boynton and bring in a real OSU guy.

He had a 28-7 season and they are 17-3 this year. They lost a ton of players after the 28 win season and had to rebuild, but they are having a great season this year including a win at Duke. And this is with one of their better players, TJ Holyfield, grad transferring to Texas Tech this year. He was an all-conference player, all conference defensive team selection, 1,000 point scorer, etc. They might be 19-1 or something like that this year if they had held on to Holyfield for his senior season.

Keller went to Oklahoma State, was a student assistant coach at OSU under Bill Self, then served 9 years as an assistant under Eddie Sutton.

Getting Keller just makes sense for an OSU program that is going down, and going down fast.

You remember that time Capel had Blake?

He's not going to hurt his stock. He could not play next year and be drafted 1-2-3 at worst.

He's not slipping out unless a career threating injury.

You can absolutely hurt your stock in college. Nassir Little is a perfect example last year. If he doesn't look like a dominant player, he's going to fall. Not like he won't be drafted or anything like that, but a bad year will absolutely hurt him. Boynton is terrible, and isn't going to put him in the best position to succeed. Why would you go do that, especially when everyone knows your brother and Boynton are getting fired after next season.

some can... Cunningham cant. He projected #1, almost as certain as Zion.

Zion wasn't a projected #1 pick until he tore it up at Duke. RJ Barrett was the Consensus #1.

If he doesn't play well, he will fall. Every spot you fall is millions of dollars. You're just wrong here.

Blake was going to KU if Sampson was still at OU.

Absolutely nothing I ever heard supports that statement. I lost count how many times I read quotes directly from Blake Griffin stating how much a factor Coach Capel was in him coming to OU. However, it appears the hatred toward Capel is so intense some rationalize that Blake was coming to OU no matter who was the head coach. In their minds, they can then justify that Capel did not make a single contribution toward OU basketball.

This is true. Cunningham won't fall out of the top 5 unless something crazy happens, but definitely could fall based on play. Now I don't think his team not winning will effect his draft position, look at Fultz, Simmons, & TY.

Top 3 I stand corrected. He wont fall out of top 3. Like I said earlier.

You lost me Wayman....I'm not sure how I showed any hatred toward Capel. It is true that Taylor was considering leaving OU had Sampson stayed and then he decided to stay when Capel came on board. That definitely helped Capel land Blake but it's a mute point if Sampson had stayed at OU.

Don't look now, but Capel quietly doing a very good job at Pitt... Turned a program that was a complete steaming dumpster fire and had gone 0-18 with essentially every scholarship player transferring out before Capel arrived. Two years later, he has them middle of the pack in the ACC and will probably make the NIT, with 7 of their 8 rotation players (including their 5 leading scorers) all returning next year...
