You see that every year, and it makes it hard to predict winners in the Dance. There is just no correlation between winning your conference tournament and playing well in the NCAA Tournament. Never has been. All things being equal, you still want to play well in your conference tournament in order to get a better seed. If OU at least beat Kansas last week, we wouldn't have to be playing the #1 team in the country tomorrow. Oh well. It's why we call it "March Madness".
