IF the rpi were to be the defining factor in the seeding, I think we are in solid shape for a #4. Notice the five bolded teams ahead of OU. I doubt any of them get a #4 seed.

Princeton can beat the Ivy League. George Washington just lost to St. Louis which is something like 165. FGCU? Chattanooga?

With a good conference run, can we pass about three teams that might falter?

My opinion is that we have a darned good chance. We played one the toughest schedules in the country this year, and that makes a difference.

OU is 5-1 against the other top 4 conference seeds this season, same as Baylor. BU has struggled more than OU at the end of the season, and the chances that we both meet in in the final are more than accidental.

A three seed is still not out of the question, but we must win 3 games to get there. It's possible.

Throw in a second place, by three games, in one of the power conferences. If we can get to the finals in the Big 12 Tourney, I like our chances to host, as a 4.
