Woodard torn ACL

Probably for the best. You can tell his heart hasn't been in it. I'm sure some of that is whatever he is going through off the court, but OU basketball is bigger than any one player.

Hopefully the team rallies and starts playing better, and more as a team.

Stupid ARSE statement... no injury is ever "probably for the best" If his heart was in it or not, never good to have injury to your body,.. gggeeezzz

Think before you post. Good lord. If you knew... Youd feel ashamed of yourself (hopefully)

Just stop dude.

If it's depression/anxiety, he needs to stop playing and get help. He looks like a f'ing zombie out there on the court. If it's something else.....well, people like you that show up and say you have the info but can't share it are the worst. Either keep your mouth shut, or share what you know. Good grief.

I feel terrible for Jordan. He was a great Sooner, and wish the young man nothing but the best of success with his life. I hope he gets a humongous ovation on Senior Day.

A season ending knee injury for a Senior like Jordan is NEVER 'for the best'.

You are an idiot. There are a select few that actually have the facts on this young man, and none can share due to honoring the kids legal rights. Jordan did nothing but represent the University in an honorable way. It is trolls like you that make message boards reprehensible on so many levels. Trust me, just thank the kid for going above and beyond.....you will appreciate the few of us trying to educate you down the road. Ignorant...smh

Right on dude! You show you A$$ enough. I'll share plenty of info but not my place.

Acl tear for a 4 year starter and final 4 team. Yeah that's for the best!

Horrible news! I feel so sad for Jordan. He has been a warrior since he broke unto the starting lineup as a freshman. This is definitely not the way I wanted to see him end his career. Bad enough that we're having a lousy season. And, now this!

Hang in there, Jordan! Prayers for you young man.

Woodard gave his heart and soul to the team, his coaches, the fans, and the university for 4 years.

What is the matter with you?

Best wishes to Jordan on a speedy and complete recovery so that his basketball career can take him wherever he wants it to.

Chances are he meant that Jordan will now have the time to focus on the things which are important to him as it relates to his future as opposed to focusing on things which perhaps are actually detrimental to him being right with himself in the now as well as possibly affecting his future. Now how possibly difficult is it to understand such a critique instead of automatically defaulting to the sky is falling approach. How hard could it be! And this applies to others who suffer from tunnel vision to the extent where the obvious becomes the oblivious.

Best wishes to Jordan Woodard in all that you do in life. You've been and will always be a part of Sooner basketball history. Thank you.

Hate to see that happen to anyone, I doubt anyone on here knows what was going on with him this year (if anything)..I sure wouldn't tell folks that hang around forums and like posting.

WT's post is the worst of the year. This board is getting as bad as the football board. So little respect for a player who has given his all.

I mean I get what he was trying to say, but it didn't come out right.

First off, it is pretty apparant that something is privately going on with woodard. He had the "injury". He has played pretty bad ball, and does look not engaged in the game.

I think all WT is saying is that if something is going on behind the scenes, maybe it is best that he focuses on that instead of ball. That is his decision though and maybe playing would actually help what is going on in his personal life.

This probably isn't the thread to discuss though.

And it is annoying, yet understanding, to see several posters continually post how "if we only knew the real story". Any random person could say that. It seems like a grab for attention. Most of the posters saying this are usually in the know, but it is still frustrating and annoying.

From a selfish ou perspective, this will be good in the long run for younger players.

Anyways, congrats to JW on a long successful career. I hope things get straightened out and I greatly enjoyed watching him play for four years. He had some very clutch plays in his career adn I will always remember how he could take over games and get really hot. Loved his heat checks

An air of common sense. How delightful. Funny isn't it when those who want to think the worst in a person claim the higher ground and in response beat their chest as they profess to know better. How thick can some of their bubbles be? The silliness which is silly.

I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers for my son Jordan. I have been watching this board every since Jordan started playing at OU. As a parent I would like to say that all these young men need your support and words of encouragement. I have jumped on here a couple of times when I felt like Jordan was being criticized unfairly. Jordan has had a rough year. He may not have played as well as PEOPLE wanted him to but he has given his all to the school for four years. Some people love him some people hate him but his accomplishments are recorded in the record books of OU history and no one can take that away from him.

Thanks for raising what seems to be a great young man. Many prayers for you and your family.

I would like to add however, that I highly doubt anyone hates your son.
