Would the outcome be different if Cam played the 4 in OT?

I want to be careful not to criticize Fitz because I don't want to be critical of him. However, with O-State's athleticism maybe we would have been better off with Cam at the 4. A better defender and a little more help with the press.

However, I'm not the coach and he knows more than me, obviously, but just curious to anyone's thought on this?

I questioned the move at the time especially with RO in foul trouble while trying to defend Nash. I was actually surprised Clark didn't play more in the second half.

I do think Fitzgerald played well overall.

Agreed, I thought Fitz played well but wonder if Clark wouldn't have been more effective.

We will never know, but since OSU was playing smaller I was screaming for it.
OSU was way to quick and athletic for Fitz.

Hard to say, really. Both players are so up and down you never know what to expect from one game to the next. Fitz had 4 points and 4 rebounds in 18 minutes; Cam had 5 points and 7 boards in 19 minutes. Definitely no clear-cut favorite if you go by their stats.

If you're thinking more about the defensive end, I agree that Cam would have been the best choice.

I was thinking more defense and helping with the press like M'Baye was doing. Clark is more adept at ballhandling. Maybe that last turnover by Grooms doesn't occur if Clark is helping him bring the ball upcourt?
