I couldn't believe their post game comments. According to Gottleib, those two guys are Seniors. Even if they didn't particpate in the brawl, they deserve to be suspended for their comments.

Their coach was pissed. He said something to the effect of everyone is at fault and it unacceptable. He was not happy.

The comments I saw were from the Cincy coach. What did the Xavier coach say?

That brawl was as ugly as I have seen at the college level in sometime. The suspensions that are almost sure to come as a result of the brawl, could leave Cincy shorthanded when OU comes to town December 29. It will be interesting to see how many players are in street clothes for that game.

Could?!? Gates may not play until February after that.
Also, I LOVE Tu Holloway's game but he is a punk and his true colors are finally being shown. Kid has little class and his body bag comments of "zip them up" are classless. He was yelling it during the Vandy game last week.

Did I hear Gottlieb say the Xavier coach was jawing with some of the Cincy players as the teams were leaving the floor at the half? I might have misinterpreted what he said. But if that is the case, he has to take some of the blame for what happened at the end of the game.

If Yancy Gates is suspended for the OU game, that is a huge break for us. He is one of their best players and at 265, we dont have anybody with the size to match up with him.

I think Yancy Gates is going to get kicked off the team. His coach was pissed. I think I would kick him off the team. I would rather lose every game than be represented like that.

I agree. If Xavier does nothing it will really be a demonstration of that institutions complete lack of principal.
Personally, I think their coach and AD were morons for even having a post game press conference. It should have been cancelled.
I also think both teams should forfeit the game. They didn't finish so they should not get a win.

I think you may be right. He threw two punches in the fight, both caught on video. No way he gets off with a slap on the wrist. If Cincy doesn't suspend him, the conference will. Judging by the Cincy coach's postgame remarks, Gates will not get off easy, nor will any player who had a hand in what has to be an embarrassing situation for the program.
I would also be embarrassed if I was in the Xavier coach's shoes. How could anyone be proud of the comments his two seniors made at the presser? Bob Stoops has sent more than one player packin' for less the past couple of years.

Xavier should suspend its coach. Any coach who allows his players to use the "zip em up" motto is either A) totally disconnected from his players or B) Not the type of coach you want running your program.
