Why would I respond to a comment you made about another poster? If you have an issue with him, take it up with him. I’m not bashing you for comments other people make, so why do you think I’m somehow responsible for things anyone else says?

Why does every thread here end up with people just slinging sh#t? And worse, it usually starts with the same people.

Literally every thread, even positive ones, within a page or two descends into name calling, hatred of PM, or insults.

If someone hates things so much it isn't hard to not come on the board orto just not say anything.

I've been trying for months not to argue or get into passing contests on here but it's hard sometimes.

You list three things (name-calling, insults, and hatred of the head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners basketball team). First off, calling someone out for being a bad coach isn’t “hatred.” Lots of people in the world are bad at their jobs. Saying that doesn’t equate to “hating” them. Second off, to the extent you think it does seem like hate, wouldn’t it seem like an OU basketball board is an appropriate place for people to express their thoughts on the OU basketball coach? I’ve not seen anyone wish harm on the man or threaten him. What usually happens is, some of us who don’t like him as a coach express that, then a handful of people who don’t like our opinions respond by replying “lol,” trying to police how often we express our views, telling us we should be positive or “wait and see,” or making sexist comments. So, that’s how it turns personal.

I'm fine with you expressing dislike for him as a coach. What I'm not fine with is when it happens on every single thread on the board. Everyone already knows.

I'm not telling you that you have to be positive about him but you don't have to rehash it on every thread..
