PG Calvin Newell - he is the elite scorer on the roster averaging 27.75 ppg over his last 2 full seasons. Blair will be a nice bench player but he does not have the skills of Newell & TJ Tyler. I can see us running some with TJ at the point and Newell at SG like Jason Terry.

SG Steve Pledger - he hit the wall hard last year and went through a major shooting slump. It all turns around this season and Pledge is going to love Newell penetrating and kicking to him for wide open treys. TJ Tyler will push Pledger for playing time due to his defense and rebounding.

SF Cade Davis - Cade has earned this position and brings some good things to the table. He needs to keep his shot selection in check so he doesn't negate his contributions. I'm not sure Cameron Clark is physical enough to make an impact as a freshman at this very tough position.

PF CJ Washington - CJ is going to be MVP of this team. When a 6'7" guy pulls 13 boards and scores 19 points a game he is a WORKHORSE. He will be the heart and soul of a team that plays their asses off. He will average a double double and be one of the top Big XII newcomers.

C Drew Fitzgerald - With CJ owning the paint Fitz will show off his mid range jumper.

Newell and CJ Washington are going to hit the scene like Everett and Gray. It's going to be a fun season that exceeds expectations.

I think you are expecting a lil too much from CJ in what will be his first real action against D1 big men, but I hope like heck I am wrong.

Regarding Washington: Just from what I've heard from him and heard from people that have seen him play (I have not seen him play, but I know a couple of people that have), all he cares about is rebounding, getting put-backs and playing tough defense. When a guy is averaging just under 20 pts. per game and it is said that he has a limited offensive skill set, it is because he is both talented at reading shots and fighting like hell on the offensive glass to get put-backs. Add to that he realizes the last two years at OU are his best chance to provide for his son and also likely his last chance to play competitive basketball, I'm expecting him to leave everything on the court...I've predicted he will fast become a fan favorite and I can see him being comparable to a Kevin Bookout.

Dennis Rodman 6'7" 210 lbs

CJ Washington 6'7" 210 lbs

I'm just saying...
