2019 Recruiting

Possibly 3 Top 100 guys is awesome. And there are 3 slots left... Shots at any others?

Even the non-negative part of me wonders why OU is turning away or moving on from kids so quickly. Not like kids are beating the doors down to come here.

Again, rip me. I don't care. There is no rhyme or reason to the recruiting going on with the OU mens basketball program.

Things have become very exciting the last couple of days. Hopefully this momentum will carry forward. Great work by the coaches. And I am sure the “Griff” is paying instant dividends. :bgriff624_jpg_xs:

This is so awesome!! Great job by the coaching staff.

So, we have 3 spots left? Is that right?

Who’s the most likely to fill out the class?

3 top 100 commits....

Could Malik Hall be a 4th this weekend?

Armstrong, hall, etienne, a juco and a grad transfer.

McDaniels is a long shot but possible. Absolute take.
I personally think we take the absolute best shooter we can find.

I know we have reaves but need 1 more.

I believe that we will only take 2 more high school guys max. The. Either a grad transfer or an impact juco

I'm fine with taking 6 HS players. We'll have the playing time for them if they're good enough. This team could use a complete makeover. Teams like Kentucky do it all the time. Freshmen contribute quite often.

Kentucky gets 6 1st round picks. If OU takes 6 freshmen my guess is 2 will eventually transfer. 1-2 more high schoolers if it's a main target, grad transfer, & maybe a JUCO.

this is the right answer OU needs to balance classes much more than kentucky

i believe OU really wants Hall then they want a shooting wing then a grad transfer/impact juco

Only way Im taking 5/6 HS is IF, armstrong, hall, and Mcdaniels come here.

Other than that, 1 more HS unless its guys listed above and then I want Best pure shooter grad transfer and a PG.

I think we need another PG to back up or start along Harmon.

i agree with all of this

Coach Crutch tweeted out a set of eyeballs this morning, with the words "I almost forgot, BOOM 940, BOOM 214, BOOM 702" .

940 is for De'Vion Harmon
702 is for Jalen Hill
214 is a Dallas area code. I'm assuming it's for Victor Iwuakor, although he is from Sulphur Springs and 214 is not a Sulphur Springs area code.

I got my hopes up for a second of another commit from the Dallas area. Malik Hall is visiting this weekend, but he's from Sunrise Christian in Kansas.
