2025 NCAA Tourney Bracketology

If we beat Georgia in the opening round I don't see anyway we miss the tournament unless ridiculous things go down in all the major tournaments. Like Nebraska winning the Big Ten, Texas winning the SEC, and North Carolina winning the ACC all at once type things. Because we'll have 20 wins with wins over Arizona. Louisville and Michigan. And conference wins over Georgia, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Mississippi State, and maybe Arkansas as tournament teams. That should get us in. Not sure how I feel about a team that only won 6 conference games getting in though.

Look at as 20 wins not 6 conf wins... they all count the same.

I think it’s a 50/50 chance as it stands right now. Beat Georgia and it’s 100% imo.

Good thing is Georgia is already in the tournament. Not saying they won’t try but OU’s motivation will be much stronger.

OU also has played some of their best basketball on neutral courts. That gives me hope.

Careful…
Luckily this year the amount of possible bid stealers are less unless you get an anomaly like a couple NC St’s coming out from the bigger leagues.

I think OU is possibly playing to get out of the play in games if they can beat Georgia, the OOC resume just speaks loudly this year. When you start comparing resumes and ignore the ugly conference record like the committee is supposed to do there’s no way they can leave us out.

Michigan tanking the last few games will take some of the shine off that win. Would have been nice for that to end up as a Q-1A win but they are sliding quite a bit. Still a good win but not quite what it was as recently as a couple weeks ago.

If we lose to Georgia it’ll only take 3 or 4 bid stealers to push us out. We can still make it in with a loss but we will be very uncertain heading into Selection Sunday. That game is going to be huge and playing them without Godwin after how they beat us up on the glass the first time around is gonna be scary.

Why do you assume Sam is out? The broadcast said multiple times they are hopeful he will be back.
