They are 4-8... losses to Creighton, Texas Tech, Omaha, Texas A&M Corpus Christi (twice), North Dakota State, Stony Brook, and South Dakota State. Coached of course by Lew Hill.

Jordan Jackson is their best player, a guard who averages 15 and 3. They are 6'7'' 190 and and 6'8'' 235 in the post.

Not a whole lot there. Good game for OU to have at home before entering conference play. A final tuneup, and maybe guys like Williams and Bieniemy can find their shots.

UTRGV is a terrible offensive team (they are one of the worst 3 point shooting teams in college basketball) but is a bit better on the defensive end (they do tend to force a lot of turnovers and have a significant number of blocks on the season, relatively speaking). They like to play up-tempo (as does OU), so I imagine there will be a lot of possessions and shots in this game. They get a lot of contribution from bench players. UTRGV is not a good rebounding team. If we cannot outrebound these guys, I might just lose my mind.

They did compete well against Texas Tech and gave them a bit of a scare, but I assume we should be able to handle these guys rather easily. They were completely blown out by Creighton. I think we should win by 20.
