Agreeance

The comparison is made because there were two sub-par years in a row while many were questioning the ability of the coach to lead a program and win consistently.

Until the situation is resolved one way or another what else is there to discuss at this point? We'll have tournament stuff going on the next few weeks. Even if Jeff isn't fired, then the discussion is about the staff changes and player changes that Jeff will have to make or we will be talking about how he'll be fired this time next year. And it'll be about 80-20 or more in agreement about him being fired by that time.

There may not be a ton of stuff to discuss that doesn't hinge on, or relate to what happens with Capel. That is beside the point. It is utterly imbecilic to have this steady stream of new threads where the subject is some new (read "old") reason why he should be fired or retained. Everyone knows the arguments for both sides. There is nothing new being said that merits a whole new thread.

He missed the NCAA once and miraculously got in the next season, things weren't looking good. It's a fair comparison.
So we barely made the NCAA one year and made it barely the other year.

I WOULD LOVE FOR OU BASKETBALL TO BE IN THAT SITUATION AGAIN!. We aren't even in the spot to barely make the NIT. That's far from where Galloway had things going his first couple of years. If we were an NIT team last year and an NIT team this year I can see your argument. Instead we aren't even thinking of a post season right now.

What about the CBI or the CIT?

Anyone got a video link of Capel's after-game interviews?

It's on the Big 12 site. There's nothing of substance, he was only asked like three questions and his opening statement was about Cade and BBSR for the most part.

Thanks. I won't even bother looking. If it's Capel or not, next year has got to be better.
