What kind of competition is there for home school teams? Do they play only other home school teams? Isn't Jacob Hammond also on a home school team?

Too much baggage. If stevie clark is a red flag for OU then this kid is a burning flag.

Hammond transferred to the school in Wichita that Buddy Hield played for. Will be going against much better competition in practice and games. Really excited about this move, it should help him immensely.

49 actually. Playing 6a tulsa memorial. There schedule is brutal. He'll graduate, it's home school. ACT score is all important with home school kids. Saw him play a couple times last week.

you're right, should have clarified. will graduate, won't qualify

Even if he qualifies, his game ain't worth the baggage.

I thought there was a lot baggage at first as well. The more I know, the more good things I know about him.
He is the gym relentlessly. 3-4am because he hates to lose. He may have some posse/crew, but I know he is a Godly Kid and im not saying he doesnt make mistakes because we all do.

Who on this board doesn't have baggage? What gets me is people are so quick to come on here and bash kids because they are known in the media. Well what's circulated in the media or in gyms and frankly the public is not always true. First Stevie Clark now were bashing a 16 year old who has never been in trouble and I have close buddies who have told me this kid is 16 and a kid that stays trouble free and were attacking his personal life. And he's guilty of what?! For one I know for a fact when he left his homeschool team who happen to run HS Nationals and dictate everything (his 8th grade coach Tim Flatt coached the kid in 8th grade) and Flatt's son runs the website filtering all media and what's said. Its been said they were out to sabotage the kid when he left by posting the article that would reach the local news. Instead of supporting the kid they want to punish him for leaving. I'm sure any dad would be defensive if their kid was used and clearly this kid who has been front and center on the NY Times cover and played all over the country has dealt with more pressure than most and with that comes a lot of jealousy. My point is its disturbing when coaches and programs punish kids for leaving all because they only care about their agenda (now I'm talking about AAU and homeschool) this kid has no baggage. Not everyone grows up in a happy safe home. Things happen and kids move around ie. Lebron James moved 7 times during his schooling. The Trier kid was the #2 offensive scorer overall last yr as a frosh and not just in homeschool but the entire state. This is my soapbox when it comes to kids and defending them when they deserve to be defended..

go see him play and you'll retract this statement.

Just like Stevie Clark I would love to have Trier. I hope we can nail down all of the top in state players in the near future......

If the coach at NOAH takes over mentorship of him that would be very good.

That won't happend I don't think. Chris isn't looking to do that. Chris is a great guy. I believe Trier has basically been living with Jonathan Bluitt.

And I'll back off of the insinuation that he's a bad kid. I don't think he's a bad kid. On the court, he dominates "Oklahoma" competition, but when he plays against better competition rather it be 6a or nationally, he comes to earth a bit. I just feel anyone who has seen him play wouldn't agree with how he conducts himself on the court. I think part maybe the NBA mentality that seeps into a kid like him where you argue every foul call, you chirp at teammates and opponents.

Now off the court I think a public school system may help him socially and academically. He's good, but we're not talking about Julius Randle, which is why OU and OSU are his biggest suitors.
