The Bears won by 12, never trailed and and were up by 16 before the half. Don't know how good a team Providence was supposed to be but the Bears looked very together. They are a team of mostly seniors and juniors so they should be solid.

They'll surprise some teams. They should be # 3 in the South of the B12.
 
Providence is terrible. Not saying Baylor isnt good but Providence would finish last in the South and at best 10th overall in the Big 12.
 
The good news for the Bears is that they shut down the high powered offense of Providence. Defense is the key to their season imo.
 
You ever look at the standing in Basketball?
There is no NORTH AND SOUTH
WE may play teams from Football north only once
But there is truly no NORTH AND SOUTH
 
Is there a particular reason why a 5 month old thread is being revived? I'm confused.
 
turns out, Providence went 10-8 in the holy Big East. if you took Friars off the jersey and put Hoyas or Irish, 10-8 gets you in the NCAA.
