Today was Media day for the Big 12 in Kansas City. In this thread I'll be posting some news, quotes and notes I run across as the articles come in.

First from kctv5 out of KC.
10:37 a.m. - Chemistry is "huge" for Oklahoma this season, according to head coach Jeff Capel. Capel said his team developed chemistry over the summer and expects for his team to be cohesive when they take the court.

Along with Perry Jones at Baylor and Josh Selby at Kansas, OU features a heralded freshman in guard/forward Cameron Clark. The 6-6, 190-pounder was a top 40 recruit by most services and Capel said he looks forward to coaching him.

"I love his attitude and I love his approach," Capel said. "He wants to be a good player, but knows he's not there yet. He allows himself to be coached."

Here are a few tweets from Guerin Emig of the Tulsaworld

Jeff Capel on Cameron Clark: "We think he's really talented. I love his attitude and approach to trying to become a very good player."

Capel: "My spirit was never reeally dead. I love what I do. I love the game of basketball. I love having the impact on young people."

Capel: "If anyhing (last year) lit a fire even more."

Capel: "Chemistry is huge. I don't care how talented you are. Guys have to understand how much they need each other."
