Two Teams Tie For 2nd Place at the end of Regular Season
1. If OU and Kstate tie, KSU will get the 2nd seed based on a better record against Kansas.
2. If OU and Texas tie, OU will get the 2nd seed based on better head-to-head.
3. If OU and ISU tie, OU will get the 2nd seed based on better results against #3 or #4 Texas. (First tie breaker is head-to-head, then record against KU, then record against Kstate (both 1-1) and then Texas.
More than 2 Teams Tie For 2nd Place at the end of Regular Season
1. If OU, Kstate, and Texas tie, OU will get the 2nd seed based on the best results of collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams
2. If OU, ISU, and Texas tie, OU will get the 2nd seed based on the best results of collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams.
3. If OU, Kstate, and ISU tie, Kstate will get the 2nd seed based on the better record against Kansas.
4. If OU, Kstate, Texas, and ISU tie, OU will get the 2nd seed based on the best results of collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams.
***In the scenarios above where Kstate would get the 2 seed, OU would get the 3 seed (based on the better collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams****
So if OU wins out, no worse than 3 weed. In my opinion, Kstate will lose to OSU on Monday (at stoolwater). So I personally see OU beating WVU at home and then TCU on the road and securing the 2 seed.
If I messed up on any of this, please let me know!
BOOMER!!
