Wow another super home game for Cade, scored our first 7 points and lead the team with 19, 8-15 from the field. Played strong D as well, moved without the ball and had high energy, what a great all around game from him tonight. Others could learn from his effort.

Little easier to read.

How did the worst shooter on the team hit 8 of 15 (53%) shots from the field and 3 of 6 (50%) from three? lol

Great game, Cade! Most of us knew you could do it. :clap

Congrats Cade on your third game as leading scorer.

Cade would be averaging 15 to 20 a game if he played at a mid major, he cant do that much against high major competition but i like the fact he plays hard and is rewarded in games like this...

I like the fact that he plays well at home because it makes all the games that I go to in person fun for me.

He doesn't play as well on the road, but then again neither do any of our players. But's it's easier to just turn off the tv and move on from those games. Hopefully we keep up our success at home.

Well said. Cade is a great kid to have on the team and a valuable player.

He needs to play like this every game now we can't have two Tony crockers that we can't rely on from game to game.. However Tony has finally gotten some consistency

Their is an unrealsitic outlook when dealing with Cade. He's not going to light it up every night. But just because he doesn't light it up doens't mean he's a below caliber player. I like Cade because he brings more things to the court than just scoring. I'm wishing Steve Pledger and Willie Warren would become a player that can still have a positve effect on the floor in situations when their not scoring.

With Cade, the criticism has been ridiculous. First he's been criticized as being slow. He goes out and proves he's the fastest guy on the court. Then he got criticized as being unathletic and proves he's one of if not the most athletic guy on the team. Then he gets' criticized as being a poor defender. He goes out and shows he's one of our better defenders and leads the team in steals. So now he can't shoot.

this....appreciate Cade's great attitude and effort.

There isn't a coach in the Big 12 who wouldn't want a Cade Davis on their team.

Cade scored a dozen against Kansas last year.

In my opinion cade plays his best against weak competition...I just do not think he plays that well against good competition...I dont know the exact stats but our tough games were:

Utah
UTEP
VCU
Houston
Arizona
Gonzaga

I loved the play in which he raced for the loose ball at the half court line and sailed down the court for an easy layup. There were several MES players closer to the ball, but Cade got it done on pure hustle.

Contributions:
Utah -1.1
UTEP -3.8
VCU 3.4
Houston -3
Arizona 5.5
Gonzaga -0.8

That's in points compared to the average NCAA player.

Here are the opponents this year and their rank:
Code:
Texas El Paso 43
Gonzaga 50
Virginia Commonwealth	67
Northern Colorado	86
Houston 89
Arizona 103
Utah 124
San Diego 177
Arkansas 185
Mount St. Mary's	210
Louisiana Monroe	277
Nicholls St. 284
Centenary 295
Maryland Eastern Shore	331

Northern Colorado is actually quite solid; in that game Cade had a +11.1 and basically won the game for OU.

only someone unreasonable would call him the worst shooter. he is way to inconsistant though. He is having a great season so far. I like what he is doing away from the 3 pt line. kinda like a david godbold.

oh and i would say that tiny had a better game.

consistently is something that you develop. Look at Tony Crocker. He is having a great year shooting the ball, but it just took time. Cade right now is a lot like Crocker was last year.

On the season:

vs Northern Colorado and whoever that was we played last night - 16 of 28 57.1%

vs everybody else - 20 of 70 - 28.6%

total - 36 of 98 - 36.7% - still the lowest of any Big XII starter.

It is not bashing to point out the facts. Bashing is questioning a guys heart and character. Especially when that guy lays his body on the line taking the ball into the paint and getting knocked down.
