Can you guys explain some Trump things to me?

Triggered.

Do you ever get tired of being played a fool?

Do you ever get tired of ignoring the fact that the dude you want to lead the country is a fraud and a complete imbecile?

Which has nothing to do with Biden's policies being significantly better than Trumps, and our standing in the world improving under a Biden government instead of a thug Trump government.

Our "standing" in the World? Who cares. The World needs us more than we need most of them. This has been the problem the last several decades.....we spend too much time and money making other countries happy, while neglecting our own. So glad Trump has changed some of this.

  • He will apply the known bipartisan fixes to Obamacare that the GOP neglected at every single American's expense.
  • He will introduce an option for American's to buy into Medicare, not be forced into it.
  • He will make community colleges, job training, and tech schools free. But he won't make all college education free. This is already being done in many places across America. TCC and Tulsa Tech have been free for years, and all it has done is raised Tulsa's standing. I don't notice any Soviet flags flying around Tulsa and people up in arms that TCC and Tulsa Tech have stripped their freedoms away. It's just absurd conservative fear mongering.
  • He will take measures (not strong enough though) to remove corporate money from politics
  • He won't be a total jackass as it relates to issues involving Covid
  • He is known as one of the most bi-partisan senators in modern history, and will work effectively with the GOP

1. lol, ObamaCare? I'd say the fact that he didn't dismantle it should have been enough for the left. But now it needs bipartisan fixes? Give me a break.

2. So it's okay that we're forced into ObamaCare, but not Medicare? Odd stance.

3. We'll see. I didn't even know TCC was free. And while it is, it comes with A LOT of conditions. Like, A LOT. The fact that I've lived here damn near my entire life and didn't know this, or hadn't even heard about it, I think is telling on what kind of impact it's having. Raised Tulsa's standing? With whom? I've never heard anybody, in any context, even mention it.

4. He won't do anything about removing corporate money from politics, but if he does, that is a win for BOTH sides.

Biden does not support defunding, despite Trump's lies.

How do you know? It's a relatively new topic, and I doubt Biden has even spoke directly on it. And if he has, he could very well just be saying what he needs to say for now. I don't know how Biden feels about it, but he is running under the political party that is at least partially backing the idea. The party he answers to.

That is certainly possible. Many of his middle class supporters can't display it for fear of retribution from their friends, family, employers, etc. I hope there aren't enough, for the sake of the country.

For the sake of the country? lmao. Before COVID, the country was humming along. No single President can destroy the country. Period. That isn't up for debate. The problems we have now (outside of COVID) are all problems this country has had for decades. Trump didn't create or exasperate them.

Do you ever get tired of ignoring the fact that the dude you want to lead the country is a fraud and a complete imbecile?

This is why people don't take you seriously. Fraud? Thug? Imbecile? All because you don't like what he stands for. Lame. Just say you don't like him. The childish name calling and petty digs are for kids. Just silly that you continue using them in a forum of grown people like this.

He likes to get under people's skin, but that in itself is not a predictor of many things. If you play poker you will notice some players are silent while others are quite mouthy. Neither tells you of their skill set. Same thing goes in sports as some are trash talkers while others mind their own business. Michael Jordan was a noteworthy "trash talker." Tom Brady is known as a "trash talker." Steven Jobs was an ass of a man when on the job, but was seen as being overly successful and a great leader. Elon Musk likely falls within the same category. Some place everything on appearance. As an avid reader I am sure you've read books which might not have had the best cover, but were books you could not put down. People are largely the same for polish only has so much intrinsic value.

The fact that you think him bragging about a dementia test is joking or not serious disturbs me, and reveals all of you guys to be totally delusional about this man.

Fraud? Thug? Imbecile? All because you don't like what he stands for.

It is pretty well accepted that he is all of those things. Especially an imbecile. Even many of his supporters know he is pretty dumb, says dumb things, lies etc.

The typical defense of this for him is "everyone says dumb things", "everyone lies", etc. You guys do everything possible to not make it about him.

You serious with this? You honestly say that in defense of a man who President of the United States and name-calls, bullies, etc every single day?

Our "standing" in the World? Who cares.

Voters care about our reputation. You will see that on November 3rd.

How do you know? It's a relatively new topic, and I doubt Biden has even spoke directly on it.

lol, ObamaCare? I'd say the fact that he didn't dismantle it should have been enough for the left. But now it needs bipartisan fixes? Give me a break.

It already has bipartisan fixes. A group of 20 Republicans and 20 Democrats got together in the House a few years go and came to an agreement on how to significantly improve Obamacare. You can't release massive legislation like that without having to make adjustments after problems are identified.

The GOP went with sabotage instead... Which is their plan for everything they don't like. They want to sabotage Social Security and Medicare as well. They are sabotaging public schools and the Post Office as we speak. Make you believe it's going broke and that it can't be fixed. Push to make it private, etc. They began sabotaging the USPS in 2006 under Bush.

You need to educate yourself on these things.

I didn't even know TCC was free. And while it is, it comes with A LOT of conditions.

All "free college" schemes come with similar conditions. You have to be able to get into the school, you have to maintain a GPA, some have to be in certain fields, with TCC you have to do volunteer work in the community as well. Those are all implied things if you care to read about the policy and its impact.

The fact that I've lived here damn near my entire life and didn't know this, or hadn't even heard about it, I think is telling on what kind of impact it's having. Raised Tulsa's standing? With whom? I've never heard anybody, in any context, even mention it.

You clearly didn't recently graduate high school or have kids recently graduating high school. Otherwise you would have heard about it.

I can't help what you aren't aware of. All I can do is make you aware when it happens to come up on this forum. I will be more than happy to fill in the gaps of what you don't know going forward. :)

Because thousands of area kids get the first two years of their education completely paid for, or their job training paid for EVERY YEAR. It reduces the student loan debts by students who take advantage by half, allowing them to enter the workforce and the economy and contribute more. They can buy more, buy houses, buy cars, etc. That is the nature of the economy.

Other cities have used Tulsa as a model for similar programs. Tulsa actually helped pioneer it.

90% of TCC's students and graduates stay and work in Tulsa after their education.

My company has hired programmers, database admins, mobile app designers, etc from TCC and Tulsa Tech.

Tulsa Tech and TCC being "free" absolutely contributes to the economic well-being of the city. We should be proud of it.

Free education is good for communities, its good for employers, and its good economics. I am glad we have it in Tulsa.

Before COVID, the country was humming along.

No, it wasn't. And Trump's handling of Covid will end up being what makes his loss in November a certainty.

What I said goes for everyone and you know it does. Being an introvert or extrovert does not make a person successful or not. My comment was about your labeling of a person. I have no idea what you are talking about as it pertains to a "dementia test." If anything is disturbing it is your mindset that everything revolves around you, clearly it does not. Your facade is thinly veiled and is in need of a makeover. You calling someone a fraud is golden of the 24 karat variety. At least gold doesn't require polish, Mr. Formby.

I have no clue what you are talking about, but are you really not aware of Trump taking a dementia test and going out bragging about it like he just tested into the Mensa society?

Then find a clue. I do not know of a "dementia test" yet because you speak of it you assume everyone is knowledgeable of it and thus address people as if they do. It's that simple.

He is definitely not the 1st to call out your incoherent ramblings.

Not being aware of a dementia test is not rambling but you take it for what you want and be happy with it. It's an "off topic" thread on a message board where I do not know you and you do not know me. Seriously, keep safe.

I saw this yesterday, he’s still *bragging* about doing well on a cognitive test that they give to Alzheimer’s patients. He keeps saying the last few questions are hard, when we can all google the test and see that they aren’t in any way difficult if you don’t have dementia.

What’s he going to brag about next, his prostrate exam? “I tell you, the doctor looked at me and he said ‘sir, I’ve never felt anything like this before, this prostrate is a beautiful thing. I’ve never had a prostrate like this!’”

What a complete buffoon. An embarrassing imbecile that I can’t believe has access to the nuclear codes. Luckily I think he’s too lazy and stupid to realize how much power he has.

No matter your politics, this is crazy. What has happened to America?

This guy sounds like porky pig half the time. What a buffoon

The only one that made me cringe was the Indian-American distasteful joke. He gets mixed up in speeches like everyone, but he laughs off his mistake admits on the mic he got it wrong & moves on. Trump just gets up there lies & doubles down on it & proclaims he’s an expert on everything.

He’s an idiot. A puppet. A demented puppet that’s controlled by his handlers, who are increasingly as far left as possible.

What has he done to show that? He’s pretty centered plus he’s more intelligent, diplomatic, trustworthy, stable & dozens of other things over Trump.
