He will be the 5th big man on the depth chart or maybe 6th if you throw Odomes in there. I can live with that for sure! Good team guy/ hard working guy doesn't hurt.

Sounds like maybe he's a glue guy and Lon wants a good Sr leader with all these young players. Somebody who will lead by example, again I don't fault Lon at all.

I'm reasonably sure it would still count against the 13 athletic ships.

I'm fine with it too. Great young man and an outstanding student who is at OU for all of the right reasons. It's hard to find fault with that.

Maybe he can contribute something this year. His play in the first game last year(Memphis) was not good.

I'm pretty sure they can still get PELL grants even if on full academic scholarship. PELL grants and any other grant are need based so it has to do with the resources a students parents have available to pay for education. If Cole comes from a middle class family he can still get a PELL grant or any other kind of grant.

It's almost like CJ is coming back as a graduate assistant. With 2 open scholarships I don't have a problem with it, plus CJ gets his first year of med school paid for. LK brings in a mature kid with good work habits on and off the court. Win-Win.

The information has changed. Walkon first year. LK gave him his word he'd get a ship for the remainder of his career.

Plan was med school and then LK called and wanted him back for another year.

Things change, he participated in Senior night. Things change

Since he plays on the basketball team the most relevant aspect is his ability to play the game and I'll leave it at that.
