Anyone know why Joyner Holmes hasn't been playing for Texas? Looks like no PT the first two games anyway.

Texas beat North Texas by only 10 points. Either NT has made a dramatic jump or UT simply isn't good yet. It's always surprising to me that UT is never better than they end up being, with all of the HS McDonald's All-Americans they land year in and year out!

I have to say, were SC to land this many quality recruits, she'd produce better results. Same goes with Kim Mulkey - she gets fantastic recruiting classes every year and doesn't get as far as I would predict.

Does this mean SC is the better coach? Just imagine if 80% of our team were High School All-Americans, rather than what we have now (just 1 - Madi)....just putting it out there....interested to hear some thoughts!

Why can't SC land these type players?

Why can't SC land these type players?

Part of it is bad AAU relationships that might be being repaired...

Texas is always hit by injuries and there coach will take any elite player that will show interest back, and will always recruit over players... hard to build confidence when you have to consistently look over your shoulder...

Kim normally beefs up her schedule with the best of the worst, and is only ever challenged by Texas... then they run into trouble when they have to face a well coached team or a team with equal talent...

Both teams a struggle with guard play early...
