Bob Pryzbylo at Scout saying it is down to OU or Florida

That seems to fit with what Joe Duvall at SoonerScoop is saying. The headline on the article with Koulechov's photo is "Two Team Race." I'm not a member over there, but I'm guessing the two teams in the story are OU and Florida. Maybe someone with a premium membership can confirm if that's a correct assumption?
DuVall is saying he hears that Egor is taking the trip to Florida to "validate how he feels about Oklahoma".
we failed to close the deal in a strong way for football recruiting this year?
I'm fully aware we had a strong class, but I'm not referring to our class as a whole; I'm talking about specific examples. For instance, Jacob Phillips told us he was visiting LSU, but repeatedly said we had nothing to worry about. A few days after his visit he committed to LSU. Jeff Badet, on the other hand, planned to visit several schools, but we closed the deal on his visit and he shut it down. We can go deeper on this, but it's just a general trend I've seen. As I've said, though, just a bad sign. Doesn't mean he won't come here.
Speaking of recruiting articles and coverage, what ever happened to Justin Hite? I really liked his stuff.
thats very common.
thats very common. these kids dont like to tell the coaches "no". this is no trend and means absolutely nothing.

Exactly.

Egor told our coaches Florida, ISU and Villanova were his other serious choices besides OU. It seems the visit was very good so hopefully it is just Florida and OU and we win the battle.

Yes, thank you for the insight. Watch out for Iowa State, as they seem to make a living off these type of transfers.
Yes and the fact that they have tons of playing time to offer.
