Egor Koulechov Visiting

Several of you seem to be taking my comments very personal. Never did I insult our football team or its class. I'm fully aware that we had one of our better classes in recent years, and one of the big differences that led to that was making an early push for commitments. Regardless of any of that, as long as people are taking visits and shopping around, they're not a firm commit regardless of what they might say. This is not controversial.

We are taking it personal. But your comment and comparison did not make sense. Either own it or spin...makes no difference to me

Made perfect sense to me. Sorry you saw this as personal.

Its not personal.

But to compare Koulechov taking another visit to the football team's recruiting last year seems odd to say the least. And to call the last football recruiting cycle "a bad sign" is odd as well

Ada, can we dump the football talk?

There are a million places on the web for you all to have a pissing match about OU football. This is the one place to come and talk OU basketball without all the noise.

Sorry about the turn it took, guys. I just made a quick comment using football recruits as an illustration that I thought was relevant. Wasn't supposed to cause such a ruckus, and I didn't know how to steer it back. I won't respond to that mess anymore.

His visit to Florida is this weekend, correct? A little strange that it would be over Easter weekend but it sounds like he probably wants to wrap this up quickly.

If he's Jewish he probably isn't too worried about Easter. I thought I read somewhere he is Jewish. May have just been speculation.

He probably just doesn't care about Easter, I wouldn't read too much into it. I couldnt' have told you when Easter weekend was this year if you hadn't mentioned it.

I suppose that makes sense and the Florida staff will probably host him whenever he wants to come, holiday or not.

I wouldn't brag about that.

I never remember until the stores have all the chocolate for sale on Monday. Love me some Baby Ruth!
