With Capel, I figured .500 at best with a slim chance at making a(n) NIT...

Now with Kruger...Of course we have to wait and see if anyone transfers/signs, but what are the new expectations?

I would like to see what our roster looks like in a few months, first.

Too many question marks...is Osby really the bomb? Do we get any late signings out of nowhere? Then NCAA. If not, then NIT.

I guess a better question would have been...Given identical circumstances, how many wins does the Kruger hire improve the team compared to what Capel would have done?

Kruger is four or five games better than Jeff-z

My expectations have not changed. 20+ wins, .500+ conference record. NCAA tournament bid.

The Big XII is not that tough. We could have went 7-9 in conference this year. Getting a few extra wins with everything coming back is not that big of a jump. Kruger needs 21 wins for 500. Let's get it done this year!

As I look at last year's schedule and results. IF you leave everything the same and swap Kruger and Capel we are at least 17-15 with wins against Chaminade in Maui, OsU in Stillwater, and Nebraska in Norman. It also turns the games with Arkansas and Cincinnati into the toss up category. If you go 50/50 on the toss ups that gives you 18-14.

For this season you'd expect an upgrade so expecting 20 wins and an NIT bid isn't expecting too much. Of course I will qualify that by saying assuming there aren't defections. Should he be able to bring in some contributors then 22 wins and an NCAA bid aren't out of the realm of possibilities but should be considered as exceeding expectations.

I would like to win the CBI at home so we can storm the court like Oregon's student section did last night...smh Oregon, smh.

I'll wait to see who we get, and what our schedule is first. Probably around .500

We very easily could have been .500 this season. Now, we lose Cade and get Osby. I think 20 wins would be an incredible job, and I fully expect to make the NIT.

A reverse record of this year, something like 18-13 with a trip to the NIT

Tempered.

I think he has inherited quite the mess and I am not going to run off a cliff at every loss.

That being said I realllllly cant wait to start kicking some chickenhawk butt!

:facepalm

hopefully push for 20 wins.....

and an NIT bid would be solid.....anything beyond that would be icing on the cake.

That being said....if we don't make the post season in the first year I won't be calling for LK head (it wouldn't shock me if several on here would).....he needs to have 2-3 years to get some of his own recruits added to the mix. This is what I am really excited to see.
