Finished 3rd in Big 12

You did say last year the ACC was better because of the top teams, and said the bottom being bad didn’t matter.

Boulder is just pointing out your desire to only downplay OU doing well every chance you get.

That is not exactly what I said. It's a combination of things. Much like the CFP selection criteria, the facts that let you separate conferences one year may not be the same criteria that separates them the next.

One thing I've consistently said is that the Big 12, given it's size more than anything, doesn't have those 1-2 really bad teams that pull the conference down. But the bottom two teams in the Big 12 should.....SHOULD.....result in 4 wins for OU most years. So it doesn't matter if those teams are 300th in the country or 200th. They are games OU should win.

Going back to last years post asking on where we would finish in the Big 12: I believe 2 predicted 4th with most people voted for the middle and a few at the bottom 1/3rd. No winners!

So it doesn't matter if those teams are 300th in the country or 200th. They are games OU should win.

They're both in the top 100 this season, but you and many other posters on this board continue to trash them as if they're ranked 200 or 300.

I wonder how many other conferences don't have a single team ranked outside the top 100 entering the postseason. I'm guessing few, if any.

Does every game have to turn into a measurement of who is a better fan based on the time and frequency of their posting habits?

Sometimes I watch games and have nothing going on, other times I can't even watch games because of other obligations, sometimes I track the score and post on here with other people, sometimes I don't post (win or lose) because I am on the road for work, or my toddler is sick, or I went to sleep, or slept in, etc.

People have lives. I have no idea why Skyvue, or WTsooner, or Adasooner, etc post, don't post, can't post, didn't post, etc. For all I know skyvue is yelling at the neighborhood kids to be quiet and get off his lawn, and Adasooner is playing with his grand kids. Who knows, and more importantly, who cares.

Thanks for that uncommonly level-headed post, big. steverocksinthehead probably won't agree, though. ;)

It is called "our life, the pissing contest." Did you not know that if I can type faster than you that it makes me a better person? There evidently are no bounds to the silliness that are people.

I agree 100%, but some of us get called out if we aren't in here pumping sunshine 24/7.

Not sure how I should be feeling about this. :)

It kind of implies I am not always level-headed.

buncha cacklin' hens around here.

This reminds me of a line by Jesse "The Body" Ventura in the helicopter scene in Predator, toward the beginning of the movie. When his fellow soldiers won't take any chewing tobacco from him.

I can't repeat it here though.
