Heard a rumor that Capel was going to suspend them for the beginning of the season. Basically, I was told that Capel was not able to punish them fully, last year, because the team was short on bodies, so he wanted to extend the punishment in to next season. Can anyone confirm?

I don't know specifics, but the could miss out on Maui. On the bright side, we would get a good look at the new guys against some decent competition.

Short on bodies:, they had Tj, Kyle, orlando, Ray Willis, thats enough bodies to still field a team...what are you talking about...Already suspended and reinstated, no double jeparody. Nope there eligible to play right away.

They were only suspended one game. I was told that that was all Capel felt like he could do last year, but that he may extend the suspension for part of this year to make a point that off the field problems would not be tolerated.

lol. it's more of a punishment to make them play the massacre in maui.

i'm sure coach feels strongly that we will beat chaminade in the 7th place game with only two guys available that have ever played d-1 ball.

No and I am fairly sure I know the source of BOK's "rumor" and there is no truth to this at all.
