Lusk says Jones will be 2-3 weeks at least and doesn’t seem like Goodine will play either. We have no depth right now

this gives Forsythe a change to get some run earlier ..

and Goodine and Jones will be back pretty soon ..

the one spot we really have no depth is at the 4 ..

OU needs Moore to stay healthy and out of foul trouble .... they will need him for 35 min a game when the games get real ..

projected starters

Fears
Elvis
Miles
Moore
Godwin

with
Taylor
Wague
Cole
Forsythe

Is Nwanko a real possibility by conference play or were they just teasing us? He seems like a real piece that could help this team. Any achilles injury i've ever seen has taken over a year, and even after that the person never was completely back. Did he not completely rupture it?

I think taylor can play the 4. He didn't look bad last week. Granted, that was lindenwood, so we can't be sure if he's going to work in confernence.

What does Cole do well? He is an impressive looking athlete and had a very impressive offer list. I was hoping after a redshirt season he'd be a player.

Just my opinion: I see cole as being similar player to moore (when he first got to g tech). Good athlete, good skills just not fully developed and mature. Have no idea of his work ethic. Moore is a tireless worker. Think buddy. Very few guys like buddy.

Taylor didn’t look great in our first game, but really looked good in the scrimmage i watched and played a lot of 4 against moore. From that i have assumed he would be the back up 4. Obviously these are just small sample size nonexpert opinions. Who knows.

Hope we see more of dayton tonight. He is a wild card for me —- meaning I don’t have a strong feeling for how much we will get from him this year

Thanks for the reply. So, is he athletic, good rebounder? Can he shoot 3s, score? How is his dribbling? That is Cole I'm asking about.

I like Taylor from what I saw. He looks confident and aggressive cutting and taking it to the rack. Looks to play hard on defense. No idea if he can shoot but he seems like a gritty glue guy. Couldn't tell on his athleticism from the small sample size..

Still not starting our best player even though we are now missing two players due to injury. Porter is so much smarter than all the dumb coaches who start their best guys.

interesting keeping fears off the bench .. as long as he plays around 30 min i don't care
