You're right that is the sad part. Carl needs to let his kids become men. I would really love to see X don a KU uniform but at this point I really just want all the drama to go away. KU is loaded regardless. This is what college hoops gets since the NBA won't let kids go straight to the NBA. All this drama with Henry, Born Ready, Wall, etc....these guys don't want to go to college. Charades like this will only continue until that rule is changed. Why do you think dang near every college coach wants it changed.

I think I remembering reading mom is moving whereever they go but Carl is staying in OKC so he can continue to coach/mentor (jeez, that's a scary thought) his AAU teams.
I could be wrong but I believe I remember reading that. I know mom is going.

From what I've read the mom was supposed to move to Lawrence and Carl was going to stay in OKC for some reason. The two are divorced by the way. Tthe mom went to Kansas and reportedly didn't want to move to Kentucky. Now, I guess Carl has been quoted as saying the mom is willing to move to Kentucky after what's gone down this week.

I agree 100%... None of these guys want to go to college, and they shouldnt have to. They are all good enough to play in the NBA, so they should have the right to go work and earn a living playing basketball.

Also, a poster on phog.net who apparently talked to Self at some sort of lunch function this afternoon said that he blamed the KC Star writer/article for this mess. According the poster, Self said the article "sucked". So I guess that explains why he's desperately flying to OKC today.

Stupid article, taking Carl Henry's crazy and control-freakish quotes and using them to make him look crazy and control-freakish. If it were Austin, the article would have been about Carl Henry's love for puppies.

Lets see a writer said the Herny's boys decided to train in OKC with dad instead of join the team. They don't seem like team players to me either just another example.X never met a shot he didn't like, kid was jacking 30 footer's with a 6'8 guy under the basket wide open. Carl told the station that it was still possible that one or both of his sons would attend Kentucky.

Rivals.com has reported that Carl said Kansas coach Bill Self and assistant coach Danny Manning are headed to Oklahoma City, Okla.

I'd still like to see X at KU because of his immense talent. It will be good for him because Self will get the best out of him or he won't play. The same things were said about Brandon Rush and he's a better person for playing for Bill Self. He'll be the first to tell you. Darnell Jackson can barely keep from crying when talking about how Bill Self changed his life. I've seen/heard it with my own ears. Despite all the BS from Carl, X and CJ still have a chance. They are just kids. They won't find a better mentor than Bill Self, I can be assured of that.
