Nice article. Renzi and my oldest son were rivals in the old Frontier conference. My son is only 6’5” but he played post and they often matched up against each other. They both went to OU and became friends then, although I don’t think they stay in touch now.

I remember Renzi had a younger brother who was a good player, too.

Grant Stone and he went to Long Beach State.

Played against them when they were on the same HS team. Talk about a big team for Oklahoma. Jenks was tall for a few years then with Coach Holiday.
