Isaiah put everyone on notice that he was in the process of breaking out of his slump against Baylor, and then erased any doubt with his performance in tonight's game. He finished with 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field, 2 of 3 from behind the arc and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe. He also had 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. And, as if that wasn't enough, our starting point guard had ZERO turnovers.

Isaiah Cousins is back, folks!

There was a thread started with video shown from Isaiah's frosh year where vs TT his body language was terrible after getting picked clean a couple times..

That Isaiah Cousins is nowhere in sight...he hit a slump..everyone eventually does...but he just went out and worked harder..slept at the LNC for crying out loud...and because of that hard work...I believe his stats read 22-33 the last 3 games which is 67%..(if I'm wrong i apologize I'm going off memory)

Just another example for Buford, James, Odomes, Manyang et al that you don't sulk and pout if you happen to hit a bad patch (not that they have or will)..u work hard, fight through it and focus on other aspects like defense and rebounding...

Very happy for Isaiah..

Proud of how Isaiah fought thru a bumpy time. We'll need him down the stretch and it looks like he's more then ready! Great job Isaiah!

I actually thought he did that against Iowa State. He had 26 on 10 of 15 from the field last Monday

Max, you and opsooner are right. Isaiah had a great game at ISU, maybe his best this season. That's three outstanding games in a row, following a slump that left most of us begging for it to end.

Isaiah didn't hang his head or pout. He just went back to work until he found his game again. It couldn't have come at a better time!

How long had he been sleeping in the gym? It looks like he came out of his slump when that article came out and coach got wind of it and said he was going to have a talk with him.... My guess would be that coach told him to relax and not put so much pressure on himself.

Isaiah was amazing tonight, looked like he had been running the point his entire career, so smooth tonight.

Isaiah is averaging 19.33 points per game since ISU. He is 22-32 (68.75%) from the floor and 9-12 from 3 (75%). He has 16 assists to 5 turnovers in those three games.

Kid is great. God loves Isaiah. Isaiah is one of His favorites.

Oustanding performance by isiah c.!!!! He is going to make a lot of money somewhere.
