Judging by everything I've read, Cousins is a late bloomer who didn't really come into his own until he was called on to lead his team as a senior. He will give OU a big guard who can score, take defenders off the dribble, or even move to the point if need be.
I'll take a scoring juco wing if one is available who is a sure bet to contribute right away. But I'd much rather have a high school kid like Cousins who has four years to develop and contribute to the team. He, Hornbeak and Hield should make competition for playing time at the guard/wing positions very intersting this fall!
