Will visit Texas Tech (Billy already contacted him) or Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Arizona State, Houston, and South Florida.

He is a point guard who is supposed to be a very good scorer, especially shooting the ball. He was once on the radar for OU, but obviously that is no longer an option.

He did say that if a coach he likes lands at a place where there is a job opening, he would consider visiting.

How does he compare to Sam Grooms arent we still in on him? Whoever we hire he will have to dig deep to find any kind of player for next year...

I dont really know how he compares to Grooms, but judging by what I have heard Grooms will end up at UNC or LSU.

Jones would have been perfect for OU... started from day one, can really shoot the ball, etc. But, in the end I bet he ends up at Kansas State.

Maybe he will like who we hire and change his mind. I think if we want to improve we need another point guard.

I can't see OSU still offering since they got Cezar to commit. They really need a big.

Didnt Grooms mention he was going to commit to OU and would still consider them or something along those lines? We need to go after the La Tech transfer

They've got two scholarships to give (most likely). They could take both, and they really need an outside shooter.

hopefully ou can get buzz hired sooner rather than later and pick jones up. i'm not particularly interested in having him at kstate, and he might be able to help ou next year.

there aren't many things i don't like about martin, but his penchant for running off guys each spring and replacing them with players of no better than equal talent is one of them.

Misleading title imo. OU could get back in on the kid if the new coach is interested. "off the board means he has comitted somewhere else.
