I just feel it.

He's screwing us over.

He's more worried about how the public views his hire now instead of how good the coach is for OU.

These names being thrown around now are simply ludicrous.

I dont think so. I think it will be a solid hire.

Maybe he's getting pressure from David and Molly?

I think Kruger and Fraschilla are good picks. They could get the program back on it's feet and in a good position to get back to competing at a high level.

Edit: I do though, think the timing of his firing of Capel was a HUGE mistake.

Care to elaborate on the names?

You'd be really good at holding one of those 'end of days' signs on a street corner, coolm.

Pastner, Smart, or Kruger would be home run hires, IMO.

Anything less and I am right there with you, COOL!

Kruger would be a home run hire.

The jury is still out on Pastner and Smart, although based on the last month, Smart would be the better choice because he clearly did more with less over that time period than did Pastner.

I just don't know how relevant the last month actually is?

Lon Kruger is a good coach, but he is NOT the guy you want to rebuild your program with young, energetic newbs. Not only that but he needs backcourt talent and length to win with his style.

Joe C. is F'in this hire up. bad.

He will get the backcourt talent and length just like he has at every place he has been.

Are you wanting to win 20 games next season or are you wanting the program rebuilt to win 20 games every year? At this point, we will be bad next season but with Kruger I know we will be much better within 2 or 3 years. Much, much better.

I wanted BUZZ, but that ship may have sailed.

These are 3 of the hottest coaches around. Lon 'don't call me freddie' Kruger would be third on that list for me, but I would be optimistic about our future with any of the 3 running the show.

To think we could do much better is not realistic, unfortunately.

Amazing how speculation leads to meltdown levels for some.

Would it be wise to wait until we see who he hires before you say he hired the wrong guy? I'm not understanding this thread.

he needs to call up Tech and find out what BCG's buyout is
