Yep, there is another group of 3 brothers who went to 3 different schools. Thanks.

Good post! Many other things with Capel other than basketball. Very, very low integrity.

None of the brother examples have anything to do with Blake and Taylor Griffin. It is their personal relationship that matters. Blake wanted to play with Taylor. Capel deserves some credit for Blake signing but his supporters also need to be realistic. It most likely doesn't happen if Taylor is not at OU when Capel got the job. Furthermore, regardless of credit, explain his pathetic conference winning percentage without one of the best basketball players in the history of the game.
- JaRon Rush played at UCLA, and Kareem Rush went to Mizzou.
- Tyler Hansbrough went to UNC, Ben Hansbrough went to Notre Dame
And Brandon Rush went to KU. The Beakers had a fit when Roy was recruiting JaRon because he sat behind the Chickenhawk bench one night with a large pizza in his hand looking as uninterested as any human being alive on Earth.

Shouldn't we change the title of this thread to "Brothers?"
Your use of "clown post" is beyond overused and now bordering on pathetic.
And saying Capel inherited the Wooden winner is laughably wrong.
And he wasn't inherited as he wasn't on the roster when Capel became the coach. To say he was inherited is ridiculous.
Four sets of brothers pop into my mind that recently played college hoops (there are likely others but none instantly came to mind).
Grant brothers- 3 sons of Harvey and they played at 3 different schools
Griffin brothers- both played at OU
Curry brothers- 2 different schools
Plumlee brothers- all 3 played at Duke
Evidence that brothers don't necessarily follow each other and that there is no guarantee if you snag one brother you will get the next.
Harvey and Horace Grant both went to Clemson then Harvey left after one year to play juco.
William and Wayman Tisdale both went to OU. In fact, Billy probably doesn't land Wayman if he hadn't signed William.
All 3 Selmon brothers.
Tabor twins.
Ryan and Damon Minor both went to OU because OU offered Damon a baseball scholarship. Eddie Sutton was mad at Gary Ward for not offering Damon. Nancy Minor is a friend of mine.
Shepard's: Woody, Darrell and Derrick all played at OU.
Paris twins.
Tinker Owens and Steve Owens.
The Williams brothers: Dr Death and his older brother.
Lashar brothers
Jon and Anthony Phillips
Trevor and Connor Knight
I will come up with more but these are off the top of my head.
Boca, Calvin Newell appeared to be a player with a huge upside at OU, but he didn't do much after he transferred to UCF. He averaged 10.1 ppg as a junior and 11.1 his senior season. The best season he had from three was 31% as a junior. He shot 27% his senior season. Calvin was a combo guard. But assuming you are comparing him to Woodard, Jordan shot 37% last year. He's averaging 21% this season. Nothing about that makes me wish we had Newell. As I said, Newell showed a lot of promise. I'm just not sure I would take him at the point guard position over Woodard. We didn't see him play that position at OU enough for me to make that call.
Pledger vs Cousins is a no contest for me. The easy choice is Cousins. I was a big Bird fan back in the day. But, Isaiah is a much better defender, more athletic, and he can create his own shots and score in far more ways than Steven ever could. Do I need to bring up three point shooting? Pledger was a streaky shooter at best. The only season he was even close to Cousins current average of 44% was his junior year when he averaged 41.6%. Cousins has averaged better than 40% the last two seasons. Pledger had one season when he averaged 40% or better.
To be honest, I never thought we'd miss Cam Clark as much as we have this season. I knew he was a good player. I just didn't realize how much he brought to the team last year. Having said that, though, would you really trade Buddy Hield for him? I know I wouldn't.
Spangler over Fitz is another no contest pick from my perspective. The only thing I might give Drew the edge on is shooting short range jumpers, and even that's iffy for me. Ryan just brings so much more to the floor with his athleticism, rebounding and hustle than Fitz ever did. That's not meant as a knock on Drew, he just wasn't blessed with quick feet and even decent hops. His defense was also suspect for the same reasons.
That brings us to Osby and Thomas. The jury is still out to some extent on TaShawn for me. But if I had to choose between the two as of now, I would pick Romero. I hope I won't be able to say that at seasons end.
I seldom comment about Capel but will do so now. Take this with a grain of salt because it's just my opinion. I think he was a decent recruiter. He even knew some basketball. He didn't have a good backup plan for recruiting misses.
His biggest issue was he couldn't play the disciplinarian role. He was a buddy to the players. It's like being a parent and always trying to be their friend. Sometimes you have to be the bad guy and make some tough decisions. You can't always please them and you need to set some boundaries. He had some bad apples on those last teams and he needed to kick some a$$. The inmates were running the asylum. He couldn't/didn't take charge and the team spiraled out of control.
JMHO.
Your list is funny. A lot of your guys don't even play. Is Connor knight even on scholarship?
