KU adding Memphis transfer Black

OSU is probably more talented than KU, but adding Wiggins and Black plus the 6th best player in the country (name is blank, Center).

Saying all that, OSU probably should still win the Big12, but wont.

Um no.

Looking at recruiting talent level alone KU is by far the more talented team.

KU has more 4* and 5* in this current recruiting class alone than OSU has on their entire roster.

That's not including the 5* Perry Ellis, 4* Tharpe, Traylor etc.

Both Baylor and KU have more recruiting "talent"

And in KU's case not only do they have more talent but superior coaching. Put the two together and you see why KU has dominated the conference and it appears they will continue that next year. Baylor however pays err I mean recruits a lot of talent but Drew can't coach for chit.

I agree.

KU has a coaching advantage over all Big 12 teams though. Self is a top 3 current coach. Hard to beat that and along with KU's legacy, brand, and current popularity it's hard to overcome that on the recruiting trail.

If it weren't for Ford recruiting Forte separately from Marcus Smart, Smart would probably have been a Jayhawk.

No. Blah blah on stars*** See Capel.

OSU should win the Big 12. With what they have returning and coming in... KU has mostly frosh that are expected to be the stars. Some Frosh dont cut it. Wiggins will...

I don't agree with that. They will have some decent vets around too. I really liked that Thorpe kid. Ellis might break out. Black will be solid. Wiggins a stud. If Self needed those freshman to all be studs, or starters, they might struggle. But he'll be able to give them roles, and bring them along slowly. That should help. OSU's first 3-4 players might be slightly preferable to KU's, but I'd probably take KU's top 8-10 players by the time Big 12 play rolled around over OSU's. I just don't like the makeup of OSU's team. I think with KU's talent, and the coaching edge, I think they have to be the favorite.

Dont get me wrong, I think KU wins the league. But OSU should...with the talent they have.

I'm an OSU fan and I agree 100% with your assessment.
OSU will be right there with KU but those talented freshman will be ready for Big 12 play and then Bill Self is still the coach at KU.

As I said, OSU will finish 2nd or 3rd in Big 12 but they'll be more ready for the NCAA tournament this time around.
