Comes on in a few minutes. I bet KU kicks the crap out of the buffs due to their loss to Texas, but it's at Colorado. Should be interesting, Colorado has lost twice on the road and now is back to where they have put away a great mizzou team and a respectable NCAA hopeful in OSU.

I am very interested in this game. Each team is coming of a poor performance. I think CU plays tough tonight.

Only reason kansas is up by 10 right now are the 3's by Brady (the Oldest Man in College Basketball) Morningstar and Josh Shelby

big crowd tonight at the Coors Events Center. bunch of first timer CU fans.

KU has too much inside that CU can't defend IMO. but, who knows....i like Higgins as a player (Burks has a ten cent head, and when he can't beat guys with his quicks he's got nothing....and KU has top 100 guys guarding him)....maybe CU at home gets the fight.

i really thought they would beat us by 10 or more. glad they didn't, but team is lost a bit. no inside play.

I agree about the fact that the CU inside game is weaker than that of KU; however, it's KU's guard play that's beating CU right now

Colorado looks totally different than the team we saw at the LNC this past weekend... Just got to stop Selby and Morningstar

And another Sooner_in_MI Big 12 upset prediction comes up juuuuuust short. :facepalm

I think this strong showing by CU is promising for OU. That is not a horrible CU team. They are capable of playing with anyone in the conference as they have proven by beating Missouri and playing KU tough. I am not sure if they are a mature enough team to win on the road but they clearly have the ability to compete at home. I hope this means OU is improving and will win 4-6 games this year.

People should not panick if OU loses in Ames. Lots of OU teams have lost in Ames and we know this is not one of our better teams.

Yep...Ames is a tough place to play.

CU won at KSU, too.

In another thread you mentioned the CU wasnt very good offensively...Did they win at KSU based strickly on defense???

In another thread I said they had some serious athletes. I think they probably won the KSU game because of all the athletes and because they caught KSU at a good time.

The team I saw play on Saturday had 4 very athletic players who can make things happen with the ball. However, I don't think their offensive sets are very good, much like our offense. I think we would be a much better team if we had the athletes CU has, but we don't.

I'll also add KSU was playing without one of their best players when they played CU and KSU was not playing very well at the time. I still don't think they are playing up to potential, but they are improving.

It's all opinion, though. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and CU is one of the best offensive teams in the nation.

After looking at the stats, Knutson from CU was 6-8 from 3 point land, and KSU shot 30% from the field in the 2nd half while CU shot 53% from the field in the 2nd half. The game was tied at the half and CU won the game in the 2nd half because they shot the ball better and they had 1 player who was out of his mind behind the arc.

That's why they won the game...they were hitting shots. Any offense looks good when you make shots.

I suppose the bolded statement above means you believe the Sooners have had limited success recently solely because of good coaching?

Regarding the second paragraph: I agree with you completely. You're frequently wrong. :ez-laugh:

I think CU is better offensively than you want to give them credit for. I think we would both agree that KU is solid defensively and CU scored a few points on them.
