Last 4 in as an 11 seed right now..........

Lots of opportunities still ahead of us.

I feel that we've had worse teams get in easier than this recently.

A nine seed is right about where we were in recent years. But the one difference is that because of Covid, we won’t have a strong noncon to help us this season. That could cause some of the posters who like to pretend that noncon results don’t matter to re-evaluate.

We don't deserve to get in if we only win 5 out of 14. It gets way more complicated if some games get cancelled.

I think we have plenty of opportunities for quality wins and I believe we’re good enough to win 7-8 more games. Outside of baylor, we can win any of the games left on the schedule. It’s all there for the taking. If we can’t earn it, then we don’t deserve it.

If this team isn't a single digit seed, I'll eat my virtual hat. I think a 6 seed is not an unreasonable goal and a 5 wouldn't shock me.

Based on every site that does advanced statistics, we are in the top 25. I think a 7 seed is probably about right based on our current play. if we continue playing well, I agree that we can work ourselves up to a 5/6.

We lost at Baylor (who hasn't?)
Lost by 4 at KU
Lost by 2 to TTU
Xavier went off on us

Agreed on the metrics....we are a top 25-ish team. What is going to get us into that 5/6 range is beating KU or Texas (or both) at home and stealing one on the road (Tech, WV). It's all about the resume (number of quality wins and avoiding "bad" losses).
