LeBryan Nash...

From Eric Bossi at Rivals:

Throughout his recruitment, many gave Oklahoma State the edge when it came to landing a signature out of LeBryan Nash. Thursday afternoon, Nash did what many had expected him to do when he committed to Travis Ford's Cowboys on ESPN.

A five-star prospect and the fourth rated prospect nationally in the class of 2011, the 6-foot-7 wing from Dallas (Texas) Lincoln has long been a star.

"I'm going to take my game to Stillwater, Okalhoma to player for Travis Ford," said Nash during the announcement.

Physically dominant in the paint when he needs to be because of his superior strength and athleticism, Nash is no one trick pony. Over the past few summers with Tony Johnson's Dallas Mustangs, Nash has proven that he can shoot the ball from deep and has steadily improved his ball handling.

"LeBryan has a polished skill-set," said Glenn Smith of Metroplex Hoops. "He has the ability to work his defender inside and out.

Nash joins perhaps the nation's top junior-college player, four-star combo forward Karron Johnson, to make up the Cowboys early class.

He's taking his talents to Eskimo Joe's.

Not a bad little pick up. But as fans from both OU and OSU should know high school AA status does not always translate to wins at the college level. Enough Debbie Downer though,

:woot:woot:woot

He wore the Stunned Aggie hat for the announcement?!

That's all kind of awesome.

nice get.

good for them.

hope he kicks some butt.

btw...I like seeing them get good players bc I enjoy watching them play. I just know what side my bread is buttered on come bedlam.

Yes. If Self wins anymore Big 12 titles in Larryville I'll be shocked.
LOL. Your obsession with KU is funny Benz.

Good get for OSU. I wish Nash luck. Seems like a good kid. I think he'll be a stud for OSU. I love his game from what I've seen.

Coming from a KU fan that lives on an OU site, that's saying something!

But I'm an OU fan also. That's why I'm here.
The day every post I make references Mizzou then your comment would make sense.

Recruiting mechas?

I don't know about that.

I don't think Bill Self is losing any sleep over losing 1 or 2 recruits to OSU or Baylor, considering there's a line of 10-12 more from whom he can pick and choose.

With the new conference alignment whereby we play all big 12 teams a home and home, it does not cause me near the anxiety when a team from the former south division picks up a great recruit. Next year, if there is pain, it will be shared equally among the conference.

I was kidding. Cheno knows how much I love KU. All in good fun.

Actually how much can I hate KU when they won me 3K in 2008 in my law school/office NCAA pool.

+1...I won $100 in my high school's pool that year because of KU. Enough to cover my losses for the next 10 years of outlandish upset picks. :woot

I was entered into a pool in 2004, the year OSU was in the Final Four. There was a max of two entries per person, and if any of the games in San Antonio had went differently...(OSU beats GT, Duke beat UConn, GT beats UConn), I would have gotten 1st and 3rd place and made like 1200 bucks. Instead none of that happened and I got nothing. :facepalm

Also, pumped about Nash. If he and Karron Johnson can keep their heads on straight, they'll be a load for teams to deal with.

oh boy... Travis Ford is now going to be extremely talented. They should be the front-runners to win the Big 12.

Keiton Page (12-15 ppg guy)
Markel Brown (#1 player in Louisiana)
JP Olukemi (#1 juco in nation)
Karron Johnson (#1 juco in nation)
Darrell Williams (#13 juco in nation)
Lebryan Nash (top 5 overall player)
Ray Penn
Michael Cobbins

Its an extremely talented core group of players... Very deep, very athletic, very talented.

I don't know about front runners, I think they have some question marks at PG. But, I think if that team can keep any potential attitude problems in check, that'll be a top 4 team in the new Big XII-II.
